I know...I know, everyone's giving this and anything Tim Burton has recently produced a big Two Dismembered Thumbs DOWN....but I liked it. A lot. Alan Rickman (SNAPE!) as a smoking caterpillar, Helena Bonham Carter looking like a bobblehead doll... If nothing else, go to see the most epic solo dance sequence in like, ever. *grins cheekily and evaporates into the air* Hoooo…. That being said…saw Alice In Wonderland on Saturday (sadly not in 3D). I know…I know, everyone’s giving this and anything Tim Burton has recently produced a big Two Dismembered Thumbs DOWN….but I liked it. A lot. Alan Rickman (SNAPE!) as a smoking caterpillar, Helena Bonham Carter looking like a bobblehead doll… If nothing else, go to see the most epic solo dance sequence in like, ever.

If you're not a huge Burton/Wonderland fan...you probably might not wanna waste time with it when you can just wait for a DVD or pirate it. You really can't go wrong with them. Or really, any Disney movie. "The classics" as they say. Which actually reminds me of the animated movies that came out in '09. I need to say that Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was a great flick, in my mind, better than Up. I laughed and laughed, loved the story, and dug the characters. And lastly... not sure if I'll be seeing Alice in Wonderland right away. I've never been a big Alice fan, nor a big Tim Burton fan (I know, I know, I'm terrible.) Those two combined don't hold much of an appeal for me, so I might end up waiting until a DVD release. Unless you REALLY REALLY recommend it. Because then I'd have to go.
